Long ago, the Kingdom of the Vale—a once proud and thriving domain—fell into chaos. The king"s two heirs quarreled, calling forth their Legendary partners Reshiram and Zekrom, which upset the Dragon Force that fed the realm. The Mythical Pokémon Victini intervened, restoring equilibrium and sealing the Dragon Force within the Sword of the Vale. If that sword were displaced again, ruin would return.
Damon, a scion of the dispersed People of the Vale, seeks to revive his nation"s splendor. He summons Legendary Pokémon Zekrom, intending to raise the Sword of the Vale and seize the Dragon Force"s power for himself.
At the same time, Satoshi and his allies arrive in Eindoak Town at the sword"s base. Facing Damon"s plot, they aid Victini, the Vale"s protector, to thwart his plan and avert a repeat of the calamity that struck a thousand years earlier.
