While Satoshi pursues his dream of becoming a Pokémon Master, he heads to Fura City for the yearly Wind Festival. Excited, Satoshi and Pikachu aim to triumph in the festival"s Get Race. At the same time, Kagachi—a braggart and habitual liar—enters the contest at his niece Lily"s urging. With little Pokémon knowledge, he bargains with a shy scientist named Torito for help preparing his speech. After Kagachi"s win, Satoshi encounters Risa, a former regional track champion eager to capture a Pokémon. Yet during Torito"s address, Team Rocket ambushes the crowd and steals a capsule from his laboratory.
One disaster after another hits when the Wind Festival"s Sacred Flame vanishes! Determined to uncover the thief, Satoshi and his companions travel onward, meeting numerous characters—including Zeraora, the Thunderclap Pokémon once thought dead. During the journey, they meet a mysterious traveler who gives cryptic clues about the flame"s disappearance. Together, they must decipher these hints and confront the hidden threat behind the theft.
