These Appmon are AI entities capable of thought and action, inhabiting the liminal space between humanity and cyberspace. Amid the boundless web ocean, the ultimate AI adversary Leviathan infects Appmon with a virus, commandeering them and infiltrating all systems—thereby beginning to dominate the human realm from cyberspace, in the digital realm. Haru Shinkai is compelled to obtain the Appli Drive, which he employs to summon Gatchmon, a search‑app monster. This battle threatens to blur the line between reality and code.
