After a significant encounter with a traveler who visited her town during childhood, Princess Mikoto of Elua resolves to pursue hunting and seek riches across Driland. She departs on this quest accompanied by her aide Wallens, yet soon they are joined by Pollon, a hunter aspiring to heroic deeds, and Paan, a roaming knight. As their journey unfolds, they increasingly sense looming peril approaching in the shadows of the ancient forest, threatening to swallow all hope for them.
