In a realm teeming with wondrous and awe‑inspiring beings called Pokémon, a fresh quest unfolds. Born in the immaculate Paldea region, shy Liko sets off for Kanto to enroll at Indigo Academy and pursue a career as a Pokémon trainer—a person who bonds with Pokémon and prepares them for duels. Shortly after, she secures Nyahoja, an unpredictable Grass‑type feline Pokémon, as her inaugural companion.
Before departing for Kanto, Liko"s grandmother presents her with a distinctive, lustrous pendant as a safeguard charm. Yet the mysterious faction known as The Explorers appears to hold knowledge about this trinket and almost succeeds in snatching it from Liko. Luckily, she is saved by the Rising Volt Tacklers, a band of adventurers commanded by Friede, a trainer who rides a Lizardon.
Following several clashes with The Explorers, Liko opts to join Friede"s crew and travels alongside them through various regions. Together they seek to uncover the secrets of the Pokémon world and unlock the hidden power within her pendant.
