While the renowned author Sensei, known in literary circles, was on the brink of fulfilling his lifelong dream and planning a double suicide with his beloved Sacchan, a truck collided with him, sending him into an alternate realm. The local priestess Annette declared him a hero and tasked him with the formidable duty of defeating the demon king. Rejecting this imposed destiny, Sensei resolved to search for Sacchan, hoping she might still exist in this strange world.
Soon after, he encountered the martial artist Tama and miraculously rescued her from mortal danger. In gratitude, Tama agreed to accompany him. Their journey was soon joined by Annette, who, captivated by Sensei"s fierce spirit, pledged to guard his life.
Together the unlikely trio trekked through perilous, monster‑laden territories and discovered that humanity itself could be the real menace to world harmony—and only Sensei might possess the strength to halt it.
