Whoever succeeds in assembling all 108 shards will ascend as ruler of this realm. The ruthless Digimon faction, the Bagra Army, is relentless in its pursuit of the Crown and everywhere in the endless war.
Digimon Xros Wars centers on Taiki Kudou, a middle‑schooler who loves soccer and always steps up to aid those in distress. While hanging out with his companions Akari Hinomoto and Zenjirou Tsurugi, he hears a desperate cry. Following the sound, Taiki encounters Shoutmon, a badly wounded Digimon lying in a narrow alley. By harnessing the power of an odd gadget called the Xros Loader, Taiki revives Shoutmon, but this act pulls him and his friends straight into the Digital World. They must navigate perilous realms and uncover hidden truths.
Refusing to let the sinister Bagra Army prevail, Taiki and his allies join forces with Shoutmon and other local Digimon to establish a coalition named Xros Heart. The group must traverse the Digital World, gathering Code Crown fragments and battling Bagra forces along the way. Yet Taiki and his friends are not the sole humans entangled in this monster conflict; many others face similar perilous trials together there.
