This OVA, also titled Vandread Taidouhen Stage (The Movement Stage), summarizes the initial 13 episodes and adds extra scenes. Therefore, Vandread Taidouhen does not truly serve as a link between Vandread The First Stage and Vandread The Second Stage (season two). It was created to update new viewers on the events of the first season for fans who missed earlier episodes.
