Gainax, the animation studio, unveiled a website announcing a film adaptation of the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann TV series slated for release in autumn 2008. The original director and script editor will both return to direct the new film. Gainax also plans four celebrations at this year's Tokyo International Anime Fair, showcasing voice actors from the series and offer exclusive merchandise to commemorate the milestone today.
