Crime never fades. By 2071, humanity has spread throughout the galaxy, colonizing other worlds with settlements mirroring those on Earth. These fledgling societies suffer from murder, drug abuse, and theft, while interstellar criminals are pursued by an ever‑growing cadre of hardened bounty hunters.
Spike Spiegel and Jet Black chase wrongdoers across the stars to earn a modest living. Beneath his carefree, detached façade, Spike carries the burden of a violent past. Jet, in turn, wrestles with his own painful memories while caring for Spike and the Bebop, their vessel. Their partnership is completed by the striking con‑artist Faye Valentine, the eccentric child Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV, and Ein, a genetically engineered Welsh corgi.
As the Bebop crew bonds over capturing a colorful array of felons, they are thrown into turmoil by an old enemy from Spike"s history. With a rival"s twisted scheme unfolding, Spike faces a choice between the life he has built with his newfound family and vengeance for past hurts today and future ahead.
