Piccolo trains on a desolate cliff in the harsh wind when a handful of enigmatic foes ambushes and overpowers him. Those same adversaries head to Mount Paozu to seize Gohan Son"s Dragon Ball. Upon arrival, they not only defeat Goku Son"s wife and father‑in‑law—Chi‑Chi and Gyoma—but also abduct Gohan. Sensing something amiss, Goku hurries home to find Chi‑Chi sprawled on the ground as she recounts the events. He then travels to Kame House, borrows the Dragon Radar, and uses it to track the Dragon Balls, the attackers, and Gohan. And Gohan, while the battle rages beneath stormy clouds.
