Following a cleaning blunder, an unsuspecting janitor morphs into Janemba, a plump, golden demon who unleashes chaos across the afterlife. Gokuu Son has been battling in undead martial arts contests ever since his heroic demise during the clash with Cell. Soon Janemba's mayhem lures Gokuu and fellow fighter Pikkon toward it, compelling the duo together to devise a method to vanquish the colossal beast throughout the nether realms. After confronting him, Gokuu observes Janemba transform again: the demon discards his bulk and changes hue, becoming a sword-bearing foe stronger than any opponent Gokuu has yet met in the depths of the afterlife. With the help of his equally fallen rival Vegeta, Gokuu must halt the fearsome Janemba before it shatters the very essence of reality.
