During a moonlit evening, the Tokyo National Institute of Microorganisms falls victim to an enigmatic faction that brands itself the "Red Siamese Cats." The group detonates a fortified laboratory containing an 80‑percent lethal virus with no remedy, and the resulting terror seizes global headlines, eclipsing Jirokichi Suzuki"s grand unveiling of the planet"s largest dirigible. The laboratory, classified as top‑tier security, housed the pathogen. Oddly, the ceremony includes a note addressed to Kaito "Kaitou Kid" Kuroba, daring him to pilfer the prized exhibit—the resplendent Lady Sky.
Conan Edogawa is granted access to the dirigible alongside Kogorou Mouri, Ran Mouri, Sonoko Suzuki, Professor Agasa, and the Detective Boys. Their revelry is cut short when an unidentified caller informs Jirokichi that a virus has been released in the smoking lounge. The crowd's excitement turns to dread as alarms blare; symptoms erupt among passengers, sparking pandemonium. The Red Siamese Cats exploit the chaos, boarding and commandeering the airship.
To thwart the attackers, Conan and Kaitou Kid must collaborate with their companions to untangle clues and unveil the true motive of the Red Siamese Cats before time expires.
