Shinichi Kudou, a student renowned for his detective prowess, has earned fame by cracking numerous complex mysteries. Yet to his shock, Shinichi survives, only to awaken in the body of a seven‑year‑old boy.

To do this, he adopts the pseudonym Conan Edogawa, drawing inspiration from mystery authors Arthur Conan Doyle and Ranpo Edogawa. His new alias lets him watch over Ran while remaining.
Under the name Conan, he quietly solves his mentor"s cases from behind the curtain with his sleuthing talent, while probing the syndicate that altered him, hoping someday to undo the drug"s effect. Each solved mystery edges him closer to reversing the curse.
