Conan Edogawa, the Detective Boys, and Professor Hiroshi Agasa choose to tour the Nishitamashi Twin Towers. While there they encounter Ran Mouri, her best friend Sonoko Suzuki, and Ran's father, the renowned Kogorou. As the trio attend the towers" grand inauguration, Conan and his companions join a private walk through its levels. Yet just as the ceremony preparations reach their final stages, an unforeseen twist unfolds—three savage killings take place, apparently connected to a mysterious Porsche 356A. Shortly thereafter, as Conan and the detectives probe further, an explosion rocks the towers during this emergency. With flames spreading swiftly and lives at stake, police scramble to evacuate everyone with urgency. When the elevator— their sole escape route—stops functioning, Conan and friends are stranded inside. With rescue forces en route, they scramble to protect all occupants in the building, but the clock ticks against them if they hope to apprehend the culprits with all odds.
