For the teenage Miyuki Hoshizora, fairy tales represent a realm of marvelous encounters and joyful conclusions. Drawn by her affection for these narratives, she pursues happiness each day. On the first day of school as a new student, running late, Miyuki encounters Candy—a mysterious sprite from the fairy‑tale world of Märchenland. When Candy vanishes as swiftly as she arrived, Miyuki assumes the meeting was merely a dream.
After an eventful first day, Miyuki discovers a hidden library on campus. While sifting through the shelves, she is whisked into Candy"s presence again; Candy explains that she seeks the legendary Precure warriors. To safeguard Candy"s and everyone else"s happiness, Miyuki transforms into "Cure Happy," a member of the Precure. As Cure Happy, she must locate the remaining legendary warriors and shield the world from peril, all while potentially uncovering her own blissful ending.
