Usagi Tsukino and her companions have enjoyed a tranquil existence until destiny summons them once more as Sailor Guardians, defenders of the cosmos. Usagi, known as Sailor Moon, spearheads their crusade when a fresh menace from the depths of space emerges: two remnants of an extraterrestrial species, An and Ail. To safeguard the life‑sustaining Makai Tree, these beings drain energy from unsuspecting mortals. The Sailor Guardians must thwart this scheme or Earth will be doomed.
Yet, as one peril fades, another surfaces—a young girl from the future who seeks Sailor Moon"s power to rescue her kin. She is not alone in this quest; the Black Moon Clan also covets that energy for wicked ends. To preserve their fates and universal balance, Sailor Moon and her allies must confront these adversaries and prevent their triumph.
