After all the Clow Cards have been reclaimed and transformed into her own Sakura Cards, Sakura Kinomoto begins her first year at Tomoeda Middle School. Following her first day of classes, Sakura reunites with her beloved Shaoran Li, who tells her he will permanently return to Tomoeda for good. To her delight, Shaoran will also attend the same school, making it seem as though Sakura's life is moving in the perfect direction with every new opportunity that awaits. Yet when Sakura falls asleep, she dreams of a mysterious cloaked figure and finds herself encircled by translucent cards in the dream. Awakening with terror, Sakura is stunned to discover that her dream has manifested itself; the Sakura Cards have become crystal clear. Continued surreal encounters with the unknown adversary and her acquisition of a magical key set the stage for Cardcaptor Sakura's newest adventure!
