Vampires are famed for possessing numerous frailties that counterbalance their immense strength, yet the vampire sovereign Draluc is susceptible to almost everything. The hunter Ronald is assigned a mission: infiltrate the stronghold of the so‑called "Invincible Progenitor" and rescue a woman"s son from the beast inside. Yet when he arrives, he is astonished to learn that Draluc disintegrates into ash with nothing more than a simple hand clap! The boy he was meant to save had simply wandered in to play the vampire lord"s video games while he slept. In a catastrophic twist, Draluc"s fortress collapses, and the vulnerable vampire chooses to live with the hunter who just vanquished him.
