For ages, the heavens mandate that budding angels reside and learn alongside mortals before attaining full angelic status. Gabriel White Tenma, the highest achiever in her cohort, feels destined to become a magnificent angel that will spread joy across humanity. Yet she becomes engrossed in Earthly video games, ultimately retreating into isolation as a hikikomori. Declaring herself a "Fallen Angel," she shows indifference to all else, much to the frustration of Vignette April Tsukinose—a demon who had become friends with Gabriel during her early angelic years on Earth.
Vignette"s efforts to restore Gabriel to her former state prove futile, as the angel dismisses every attempt to alter her cherished routine.
