Word has spread that the place is haunted by an evil spirit, driving away any would‑be tenants. Consequently, it offers the ideal hideout for Fuyuzora Kogarashi—a destitute, wandering psychic who needs a cheap roof and a chance to confront ghosts.
Kogarashi readies himself for a showdown with the specter, only to discover that it is not as wicked as the rumors suggest. In fact, the apparition is a stunning silver‑haired girl whose sole memory of life before death is her name: Yuuna. Even more perplexing, every resident at Yuragi‑sou can see Yuuna and each possesses a unique supernatural talent.
Amid the pandemonium stirred by his eccentric neighbors, Kogarashi strives to uncover the remorse that keeps Yuuna tethered to the mortal realm, preventing her from turning into a malevolent spirit condemned to hell. He hopes that by resolving her unfinished business, the lingering sorrow will release Yuuna from her earthly ties.
