This forces his great‑great‑grandson Sewashi to intervene tangled web of fate.
Sewashi leaps back from the 22nd century to the 20th, intent on meeting Nobita and altering fate. Nobita is stunned when a blue mechanical cat materializes beside him, emerging from his drawer with a whirring hiss. The cat introduces itself as Doraemon, claiming Sewashi compelled it to aid Nobita with the aim of granting him boundless joy. Seeing Nobita's despair, Doraemon resolves to return to the future, but doubts truly linger. Yet Sewashi triggers a safeguard inside Doraemon that bars his departure, locking the device.
Forced to remain, Doraemon employs futuristic gadgets from his four‑dimensional pocket—a bag that holds everything within and beyond. Will Doraemon succeed in bringing Nobita happiness and finally return to his own time ever for the first time?
