After reflecting on his late grandmother, Nobita Nobi longs to see her once more and requests Doraemon take them back in time. After a heartwarming reunion, the grandmother reveals she wishes to meet his future wife. Out of respect, Nobita agrees and hurries into the time device with Doraemon as they head ahead. Yet when the pair arrive at Nobita's nuptial day, they find that future Nobita is absent from the ceremony!
