Aomatsu is a typical otaku who leads an unremarkable life in middle school. One day, craving something beyond the routine, he climbs to the roof of his school and discovers a mysterious girl with jet‑black hair. Unaware of her identity, he learns that she is Tomoko Kuroki, a figure infamous for her eccentric and unpredictable behavior.
Their brief conversation leaves an indelible mark on Aomatsu, compelling him to return each day just to catch a glimpse of Tomoko again. However, Tomoko interprets their meetings differently, and as a result the two remember a particular incident in markedly distinct ways. Their stories intertwine, yet each retains its own unique perspective.
