To discipline him and prompt reflection, his father sends Seishuu to the Goto Islands, far from the comfortable Tokyo life the temperamental artist knows. Now in a rural setting, he must seek fresh inspiration and craft his own distinctive style—provided the boisterous children (led by spirited Naru Kotoishi), fujoshi middle‑schoolers, and energetic seniors don"t invade his home! The newest resident of the close‑knit, quirky Goto community simply wants to finish a project, yet the islands are anything but the tranquil countryside he imagined. Thanks to his eccentric neighbors who never mind their own business, the proud calligrapher learns far more than he ever expected.
