Outraged by people"s disdainful attitude toward the world ocean, young Ika Musume—also known as Squid Girl—rises from the depths and emerges onto land to conquer and harshly punish humanity. For an offensive a forward‑operating base is needed, so Ika, slightly camouflaged, decided to start with the first beach café that fell under her tentacles. Problems then arose—the local manager, Ayaka Aizawa, a sharp and practical woman—listened to the guest"s manifesto and immediately assigned her to work as a waitress, reasonably noting that if Ika cannot handle 30 customers, how can she plan to conquer Earth? Thus the messenger of the depths remained a waitress, and attempts to bully her led to the discovery that one should not anger Tidzuru, Aizawa"s older sister, who looks very much like Bellandai.
