Since witnessing the "Little Giant" and his incredible prowess on the volleyball court, Shouyou Hinata has been captivated by the sport"s vibrant energy. Though his first attempt to become a regular player during a middle‑school tournament ended in failure, he remains determined to show that his modest height does not impede him when matched with unwavering resolve and persistence.
Upon enrolling at Karasuno High School, the Little Giant"s former school, Hinata feels he is one step closer to realizing his dream of turning professional. Even though the school now only carries a faint echo of its past greatness, his resolve stays firm until he discovers that Tobio Kageyama—the prodigy who once defeated Hinata"s middle‑school team with ease—is his new teammate.
