After transferring to a new school, Hasegawa Kodaka struggles to make friends. His blond hair only fuels rumors that he is a delinquent. One afternoon, he bumps into his irritable loner classmate Yozora while she chats animatedly with her imaginary companion Tomo. Realizing that both are friendless, they decide to tackle the problem by forming a club and recruiting others.
Thus "Rinjinbu," The Neighbours' Club, was born—a club tailored for those with few friends. As more isolated classmates gradually join their small circle, they aim to learn friendship skills through cooking together, playing games, and other group activities. Will this band of socially challenged misfits succeed in bonding? Their journey will test patience, trust, and the true meaning of companionship as they navigate awkward moments and unexpected bonds in the process and find hope.
