Seventeen‑year‑old Jun'iti Nagase (or simply Jun) has lived without parents since childhood, who are always disappearing abroad. But the boy doesn"t miss them – after all, his parents and the whole family are replaced by a younger sister one year older, Minato (which means "harbor") – beautiful like Bellandie, strong in spirit like Nanoka, kind like Sanae, and a master of household tasks. With such a sister as a stone wall behind him, Jun caused quite a stir in middle school, earning the title of the city"s first hooligan nicknamed "Genokiller." By high school he, however, had become wiser, draining more and more with the help of console games. And those hooligan escapades, Jun thinks, were shamelessly exaggerated by his close classmates – the great provocateur Fuyuhiko and the school reporter Tsukasa. Nevertheless, when on the last day of holidays Jun saw two rascals harassing an unfamiliar girl, a "proper question" was enough to make the would‑be machos disappear, bowing away in haste. With a careless wave of gratitude typical of a "princess," our hero proudly left, only to see the next day with horror how this girl named Yuki Katagiri transferred into his class. Sweet and well‑mannered Yuki (which indeed means "princess") began her school life with a public thank‑you to her savior, which for various reasons enraged the local self‑proclaimed "queen" Karen Ayanokodji. She decided to set a trap for the newcomer, offering her to explain her relationship with Nagase in front of everyone. Yuki honestly described everything that had happened, and then Jun was called, whom the malicious Fuyuhiko and Tsukasa had misled into believing that it was about a girl"s honor and Yuki needed to be saved. Acting boldly and decisively, Jun burst into the classroom, looked Yuki in the eyes and… kissed her hard. Waking up at home with his sister"s efforts by evening, Jun heard the doorbell in horror. Behind it stood Yuki with her belongings.
