The story takes place at Siomi Academy—a vast, prestigious institution with a "Daitosekan" (a grand library) capable of rivaling Japan"s national library. As a member of the literary club, Kyotaro Kakei often goes to the Daitosekan to enjoy reading alone. Thanks to the efforts of a so‑called "pastor" who grants wishes, he meets a girl named Tsugumi Sirasaki. Over time, more and more girls join the club thanks to this "pastor."
