In New Tokyo, the imperial capital cut off from the outside world, a deadly elimination game continues, orchestrated by the head of the sinister corporation MBI, which has seized control of Japan"s economy. The foundation of MBI"s power lies in alien technology, whose pinnacle are the "saikirei," super‑fighters whose might is beyond imagination. Yet each of them still needs to find a chosen "asikabi"—an ordinary mortal who can awaken a partner and grant them access to full power. Now in the capital, the awakening of 108 saikirei participating in the game concludes; teams are formed and preparations begin for internecine battles, leaving only one survivor. Minato Sahaşi, a 19‑year‑old failed high school graduate and the series" protagonist, by fate became an asikabi and informal leader of a whole group of unique saikirei who gathered in the northern district of New Tokyo at the income house Izumo. Although his fighters and allies could easily tear up half a city, Minato restrains them in every way, worried about each of the girls with whom he has bound his fate. One cannot escape battle—it comes to Izumo itself, bringing old grudges, family secrets, and skeletons in the closet.
