Maze wakes to find her home in ruins and she suffers from memory loss. Before she can piece together the chaos, a girl named Mill bursts into her dwelling, thanking Maze for rescuing her. Mill explains that her house had collapsed from the sky, crushing those who chased her. Soon both flee from additional hunters eager to capture Princess Mill. They escape only when Maze realizes she possesses phantom‑light magic and can summon a family heirloom mecha belonging to Mill. Her initial attempts with the mech are clumsy, but after dusk she transforms into a confident warrior. The night sky glows with unfamiliar constellations as they press onward. Each step reveals hidden dangers and ancient secrets that test their resolve. More travelers soon join their quest as Maze strives to shield Mill and uncover her role in this strange realm.
