Adeu the Sonic, a young commander of the Ryu Knight Zephyr, is accompanied on his journeys by Princess Paffy, Priest Izumi and Ninja Sarutobi. Together they meet many folk of the realm, among them other Ryus. Throughout their quest, Adeu strives to challenge his Ryu against and thus sharpen his skills.
