Haruto Kirishima enjoyed a tranquil existence in the rural outskirts, far removed from the city's relentless rhythm. Kimi no Iru Machi begins a few months later, when Haruto relocates to Tokyo to live with his sister and chase a culinary career. Yet deep down he longs for Yuzuki.
