Britain is aflame with reports of a so‑called "Lord of Crime," a mastermind behind the collapse of several unruly aristocrats. In reality, this title belongs not to one person but to a trio: William James Moriarty and his brothers Louis and Albert. Their aim is to eradicate the corruption that plagues their society and forge a new, just order for everyone. To achieve this, they must carry out illicit deeds that Sherlock Holmes and his ally John H. Watson cannot tolerate. A perilous cat‑and‑mouse duel erupts between the Lord of Crime and Holmes, each attempting to outsmart the other. Yet Holmes, however adept he is, remains unaware that his adversary lurks nearby.
Both sides involve a woman named Irene Adler, stunning and shrewd. Familiar with intrigue, Irene has tangled herself in a plot that may exceed her own capacity; the confidential papers she pilfered could topple the very foundations of the British Empire. Will Irene be rescued, or will a fatal destiny claim her?
