UA Academy"s Class 1‑A has attracted considerable public interest after enduring a series of villain assaults throughout the last academic year. This spotlight has left their rivals, Class 1‑B, resentful and eager to showcase their own prowess. They now anticipate a chance to do so: a series of mock duels pitting the two classes against one another.
Both classes are divided into teams of four, each tasked with capturing members from the opposing side. The first team to seize all opponents claims victory. Although straightforward at first glance, the contest gains complexity with the arrival of General Course student Hitoshi Shinsou, who seeks to join the Hero Course. Though he trains under Class 1‑A"s homeroom teacher, Shouta "Eraserhead" Aizawa, to demonstrate his hero potential, his inexperience keeps him trailing the others. Nevertheless, Shinsou remains resolute to rise above this hurdle.
