As the conflict briefly eases and Edo starts to recover, Gintoki spots Shinpachi—who still doesn't know he's back—on a bridge. Yet when hostilities erupt between the Yorozuya and Tenshouin Naraku, doubt rises in the heat of battle, compelling Gintoki to don a nearby loincloth to conceal his identity. For the moment, Gintoki slips into the Yorozuya office, unaware that another presence already awaits inside just as the first shots rang. Meanwhile, Kondou leaves Earth to wed Princess Bubbles in hopes of strengthening diplomatic ties. Upon boarding the Gorilla Amanto flagship, he discovers that he cannot understand their tongue. Perplexed, Kondou attempts to speak with them, inadvertently earning their favor. However, an associate of the princess interrupts the ceremony. Will the nuptials proceed, or has Kondou narrowly escaped becoming the next Gorilla Prince?
