Somehow Ginsan returns home after half a year… slightly tired from the vacation. He goes up to the second floor, enters a familiar door, and there – Synpati, Kagura, and himself! Only "himself" is a broad‑shouldered handsome blond named Kintoki Sakata, whom the inhabitants of the Otose Snack Bar are simply crazy about. After sorting out the situation, poor Ginsan realized that what"s around isn"t a hangover joke but a real conspiracy – the Evil Forces of the Market replaced him with an ideal hero, the android Kinu, while editing human memory, manga, anime and even video games! Now for the Kabuki district and all of Edo, golden‑haired Kintoki is an old acquaintance and a boardroom guy, while he, Ginsan – a drunken fool carrying some nonsense. But evil does not rule the world indiscriminately – Ginsan understood, lying on a local dump. Here he was recognized as the faithful Sadaharu, whose mutated brain is inaccessible to washing out, and Tama, who managed to keep a backup copy of the memory. Regaining his will to fight again, Ginsan wondered how to win and take a rightful place – after all, Kinu, "brother by force," lacks the flaws of the original, and thus you can"t just take him? Who is at fault – it"s clear, but what to do – reflect on the past, seek new powers or negotiate? And who in the end will turn out to be stronger – gold or silver, Kintama or Gintama? It doesn"t matter – in any case we have the best comedy of the new millennium before us.
