Across three thirty‑minute adventures set in a realm, Lina Inverse and her companion Naga the Serpent agree to gigs that will earn them food, shelter, or protect their lives. In the opening tale, "The Terrifying Chimera Scheme," they confront a deranged wizard who plots to harness Lina in order to forge a beast that will terrorize the countryside. Next, "Jeffry"s Chivalric Journey" sees them hired by a mother to ensure her son—barely able to grip a blade—achieves the honor of knighthood by "assisting" him in repelling troops that threaten the surrounding villages. Finally, "Mirror, Mirror" pits the duo against a renegade sorcerer who has uncovered a relic capable of producing faithful copies of anything or anyone, enemies, and they must race to capture him for a hefty and swift bounty.
