During a search for a missing individual, the mission collapses when Kakashi Hatake is lured into a dubious trap and becomes separated from his pupils Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Sakura Haruno. Compounding the crisis, the three are ambushed by enigmatic ninjas who seize Sakura, forcing Naruto and Sasuke to pursue. While the two boys confront a perilous clash, even Sasuke"s unsettling revelation about the assignment cannot stop them from striving to reunite the group and fulfill their objective for the mission's success.
