During a chaotic assault, the Sunagakure shinobi strive to push back an unexpected onslaught of enigmatic armored combatants across the Land of Wind. Soon after, those very armored forces, commanded by Temujin—a formidable knight with great prowess—surprise Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Shikamaru Nara while they are hunting for a missing ferret. The duel between Naruto and Temujin escalates into a brutal struggle, concluding with both warriors tumbling off a precipice.
Shocked by their comrade"s abrupt fate, Sakura and Shikamaru observe a further unsettling event: an enormous mobile edifice materializes from nowhere, crushing trees and boulders in its wake.
