Liberated from mortal constraints like death and famine, residents of this cyberspace enjoy a fragile calm until the enigmatic hacker Frontier Setter breaches the network and disseminates insurgent propaganda to the denizens. Tagged as a security menace by officials, Frontier Setter is hunted by Angela Balzac, an unwavering officer of DEVA"s enforcement division. When the hacker"s transmission is pinpointed to Earth, Angela assumes a tangible form by uploading her mind into a replica body and journeys beneath the surface to confront the threat.
