Natsume Tomoharu appears to be a typical high‑school student in every respect, except that the specter of his best friend Misao shadows him.
After settling into his brother"s former residence, Tomoharu hopes to resume an ordinary routine, yet one day he discovers a sealed, enigmatic briefcase with no explanation. The case feels heavy, as if it contains more than just objects. Initially he intends to stash it away; soon his home is besieged by several factions chasing the case. Still unaware of its purpose, Tomoharu and Misao try to flee while clutching it.
From that point onward, he seeks to uncover the mystery of the briefcase, its ties to Misao, and why it wields a force capable of altering reality today.
