This follows the first season of Mashin Eiyuden Wataru. After vanquishing Doakudar, Wataru enjoys a peaceful life on Earth. While playing with his companion Ryujinmaru, the latter summons him for another battle. It turns out that Doakadar—Doakudar"s sibling—has seized the Seven Star Mountain, which fuels Mt. Soukai"s rainbow. Should all seven peaks lose their glow, the rainbow will vanish and darkness will engulf the world forever. Thus Wataru must once more traverse the seven-star realm to defeat this stronger foe. The stakes are high, as the fading rainbow threatens to plunge humanity into eternal night for all.
