In the bleak age, humanity suffers beneath the dominion of the demon Vandel, who commands monsters. Hunters called Vandel Busters pursue these fiends; among them the Zenon Squad is famed as the continent"s mightiest. A youthful aspirant named Beet longs to join that elite group. Yet one day, due to Beet"s mistake, the Zenon Squad fell to the demon Beltose. The five dying members poured their life force into their weapons, the Saiga. After bestowing these armaments on Beet, they perished. Decades later, the young Vandel Buster Beet embarks on a quest to fulfill the Zenon Squad"s mission and end this dark era. His resolve is forged by the memory of those fallen comrades, and he vows to honor their sacrifice. Together he seeks relics that can seal Vandel"s power.
