Yousuke Obata resides on Pagopago, a small island in the Fiji group, alongside his father Tetsuo, an oceanography expert. When a tempest hits the island, Yousuke takes his Jet Ski to the lagoon and discovers an odd infant dinosaur. He brings it back to his father's lab and christens it Coo.
Coo enlarges, resembling a sizable marine reptile—a juvenile plesiosaur that once swam there about 65 million years ago. Yet Coo quickly attracts attention from the French intelligence agency, tasked with safeguarding France"s nuclear assets in this otherwise tranquil region for strategic oversight of coastal defense and international diplomacy in Pacific.
