On the twentieth level of the Tower, those granted access as "Regulars" must endure grueling and costly trials to climb higher. The 20th floor is a notorious threshold, where only the strongest survive; most give up and remain where they are—except for Ja Wangnan.
Wangnan is resolute to reach the pinnacle and claim kingship of the Tower. Yet he is frail, has failed the test countless times, and debt collectors trail him relentlessly. In a last‑ditch effort he retakes the exam, only to meet an enigmatic and formidable figure: Jyu Viole Grace from the FUG crime syndicate.
Cursing his misfortune, Wangnan is forced to ally with powerful individuals, including Viole—who stubbornly refuses any partnership. Facing a desperate scenario, Wangnan must persuade Viole to join him so he can finally pass the twentieth level; otherwise his chance at legacy vanishes forever.
