Amatsuyu "Jouro" Kisaragi is an ordinary second‑year high‑schooler who spends one weekend on two dates—first with the student council president Sakura "Cosmos" Akino on Saturday, then with his childhood friend Aoi "Himawari" Hinata on Sunday. Unfortunately for Jouro, both girls confess their love for his best friend Taiyou "Sun‑chan" Ooga, the star pitcher of the baseball team. Accepting their pleas for help, he becomes the unlikely matchmaker tasked with securing the same boy"s affection for each of them.
What none of his friends know is that Jouro"s affable, clueless demeanor is a deliberate act meant to portray him as the archetypal romantic‑comedy hero. Beneath his sunny exterior, he plots to have Sun‑chan fall for either Cosmos or Himawari and then claim the other as his reward. His scheme is jeopardised by the gloomy, four‑eyed Sumireko "Pansy" Sanshokuin, who not only uncovers his hidden personality but also confesses the truth he has concealed for so long.
Caught in this uproariously tangled web, all five students must juggle a maze of deceit, traps and misunderstandings to emerge victorious.
