During a mining operation, the crew saves Maya Mikuri, a scholar left behind by her squad. Accused of pilfering classified orichalt data by former teammates, she joins the Excavate Company to vindicate herself. Their journey then transforms their destinies—including Ido, a top operative of the group who lacks recollection of his past. For the first time, Ido may finally uncover his true identity today.
