White Fang is born in the Alaskan tundra to a wolf father and a half-wolf, half‑dog mother. One day he and his mother encounter an Inuit boy named Mit‑sah, who has long wished for a companion dog; by a remarkable twist of destiny the wolves are welcomed into his home with his father. Yet life in Alaska is unforgiving for both humans and wolves, and as winter approaches the challenges grow for White Fang and Mit‑sah. Confronting the biting cold of their surroundings and the avarice in human hearts, they set out toward a place where hope for a better life may flourish for a brighter tomorrow.
